Halve the paprika pods, deseed and slice into strips.
Peel the onions and finely chop them.
Scald the tomatoes, remove the peel and dice. Peel the cucumber, halve, deseed and cut into bits.
Wash the aubergine, cut into slices and dice.
Clean the mushrooms and cut into quarters.
Heat up the olive oil, fry the vegetables together with the rosemary twig and braise for 10 minutes. Season with paprika powder and salt.
Fry the Virginia-Steaks in hot sunflower oil on both sides (until crispy). When done, place them on a bed of vegetables on the plate and serve.
